Stored by the site
When you save a home, the list goes into your browser’s local storage, under the name saved-homes. It stays on your device and never reaches us.
Stored by our hosting provider
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, can set security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance to tell people from automated traffic. On forms, Cloudflare Turnstile runs the same kind of check. These are strictly necessary for the site to work safely, and they hold no profile of you.
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies or local storage.
Loaded only when you choose
House pages can show a Google map. It loads only when you press Load map. From then on, Google can set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
On other sites
When you follow a link to a rental company, that company sets its own cookies on its site. If the link passes through an affiliate network, such as Awin, the network can set a cookie that records the click, so the company can credit us if you book.
Your choices
Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies and local storage. Clearing the site’s data also clears your saved homes.
